A very rare plain stem wine glass ,having a flared bell bowl very finely engraved with a central image of two flowers and a heart, representing true love and sincerity with Beauty Chastity and Love engraved above , all on a plain stem and plain conical foot ,

The central image with two flowers and a heart is taken from "Symbola et Emblemata, Amsterdam 1705, and the glass was possibly a gift from one lover to another, or possibly an engagement glass.
