A superb large plain stem goblet having a very finely engraved ogee bowl decorated with Passion flower and ubiquitous moth,both well documented in the symbology of the Jacobites and Catholicism.

Beautifully engraved including finely polished details,all on a plain stem and folded conical foot.

please note the cunning use of the engraving of the moths antennae to cover a small bubble in the bowl.

A very fine and substantial glass in superb condition. 417grms or 14.7 oz (almost a pound ),obviously no concernes over glass tax with this piece.
