A very nice and uncommon goblet having a wide cup bowl over a double series opaque twist stem ,all on a plain conical foot .

Glasses with cup bowls such as this have often been labelled "Mead " glasses, however current thoughts are that they would have been used with white wine, the bowl shape being similar to those of roemer type glasses in the continent which were almost certainly used for white wine.

however I can attest that whatever you fill it with , be it red, white or beer , it works very well indeed.
