C 1740/45
Height 6 7/8th ins 17.5 cm
A rare glass in perfect original condition , there is a small bubble in the foot which is solid and intact
A good candidate for the family crest is the Hall family (see photo ) though not identical with the glass having the addition of five Fleur de Lys, Hall is a common name in England Ireland and Scotland, maybe its next custodian could nail it down further,
Talbot dogs were hunting dogs dating back to the middle ages, apparently disappearing at the end of the 18th century,
English family crests are very uncommon on glass
