A lovely Kit cat wine glass, having a trumpet bowl with teared stem and inverted baluster basal knop with tear,all on a folded conical foot .

The name Kit Cat glass as described by Barrington Haynes in his "Glass Through the Ages" is inaccurate when compared to the glasses portrayed by Kneller in his portraits of Kit Cat members, however it has become stuck as the known description of these types.
