Hollow stem glasses are the smallest group of all 18th century glasses amounting to only 0.5% of the total - those with a swelling knop total only 15% of the group and are very rare.

This excellent example has a generous cup shaped bowl with a band of engraved and polished decoration, the hollow stem is swollen at the centre and leads down to a domed and folded foot.

A superb example of a very rare glass in fine condition.
