A very rare green balustroid gin glass of typical form with a bell bowl over a stem with inverted baluster and basal knop, all on a folded conical foot.

Gin glasses in this form are well documented ,however I can find no other reference to one in green glass, the metal which has several bubbles may indicate that it was produced by a bottle glass manufacturer though the quality of construction would suggest that the maker was skilled in producing stemware so it seems unlikely that only one example would have been made, until another appears this remains the only example seen to date .
