A very nice flammiform ale glass, the funnel bowl having wrythen moulding with pronounced flames,all on a plain conical foot.

Flammiform ales were produced from the late 17th century well into the 18th century,the metal and form of this example would suggest a date between 1730 and 1750.

A lovely example of its type in perfect original condition with only a small pot stone and a few intact bubbles in the foot.
