A superb Anglo Dutch Facon de Venise wine glass in lead metal with a ribbed conical bowl over a hollow tapering stem on a spiral moulded foot,the presence of lead even at low levels would in the past have dictated an English origin,however it is now understood that lead glass was being experimented with and produced in the late 17th century in The Low Countries and other continental centres of glass making ,A superb glass in pristine original condition
